About the SHARE study
SHARE, the Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe, is a multidisciplinary and international panel study that collects microdata on health, retirement, socio-economic status, social and family networks of people aged 50 or older.
Objectives and expected results
The implementation of the SHARE study will alleviate the problem of lack of quality and internationally comparable data and strengthen the administrative capacity of the institutions responsible for implementing evidence-based policies. The collected data will serve as a scientific basis for providing more efficient policies aimed at improving the quality of life of citizens and saving public money.

PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION AND FINANCING
The beneficiary of the SHARE study (project number UP.01.3.2.03.0001) is the Ministry of Labor, Pension System, Family and Social Policy – Directorate-General for Pension System, and the Partner is the Faculty of Economics & Business, University of Zagreb. The study is co-financed by the European Union (EU) from the European Social Fund. The contracted value of the project is HRK 9,983,493.87, with EU support amounting to 100%.
