Final conference of the project “SHARE – Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe” was held on June 1, 2023 in the Crystal Hall of The Westin Hotel. The conference was opened by the Minister of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy, Marin Piletić. Assoc. prof. Ph.D. Šime Smolić, head of the SHARE project in Croatia, presented the results of the project, while associate professor Ph.D. Ivan Čipin, collaborator on the project, presented the monograph “Effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the lives of the 50+ population”. At the end of the conference, a panel entitled “Economic, health and social challenges of demographic aging – insights from the SHARE study” was held, in which Ivan Vidiš, associate professor Ph.D. Šime Smolić, associate professor Ph.D. Ivan Čipin and Ph.D. Predrag Bejaković. Anita Hrstić was the moderator of the panel and also the program manager. The conference was attended by numerous dignitaries from political and social life and the academic community.
