Final conference of the project “SHARE – Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe”

Final conference of the project "SHARE - Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe" was held on June 1, 2023 in the Crystal Hall of The Westin Hotel. The conference was opened by the Minister of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy, Marin Piletić. Assoc. prof. Ph.D. Šime Smolić, head of the SHARE project in Croatia, presented the results of the project, while associate professor Ph.D. Ivan Čipin, collaborator on the project, presented the monograph "Effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the lives of the 50+ population". At the end of the conference, a panel entitled "Economic, health and social challenges of demographic aging - insights from the SHARE study" was held, in which Ivan Vidiš, associate professor Ph.D. Šime Smolić, associate professor Ph.D. Ivan Čipin and Ph.D. Predrag Bejaković. Anita Hrstić was the moderator of the panel and also the program manager. The conference was attended by numerous dignitaries from political and social life and the academic community.

The fourth workshop within the SHARE project

On May 15, 2023, the fourth workshop as part of the SHARE project was held at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb. The workshop was organized by the Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy in partnership with the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb. The emphasis of the fourth workshop was on practical examples in which the data collected as part of the SHARE project were analyzed (descriptive analysis, graphical representations, statistical tests, regression analysis, panel data analysis options, etc.).

SHARE Wave 10 Pretest Meeting

The SHARE meeting in Iasi, Romania will take place from May 3 to 5, 2023. The main topic of the meeting will be the pretest of the tenth wave of the SHARE study. Also, the representatives of the countries will be explained the tasks that need to be done so that the data from the conducted ninth wave of the study can be published.
